Growing Heirloom Tomatoes In My Front Yard

Yummy Tummy Farms has come so far so fast and 2012 has really kicked us into high gear. Full fair disclosure: if I had not had some increased economic good fortune then this progress would not have been possible because designing, organizing, planning, building, implementing, and installing all of the myriad moving parts that a suburban farm requires is, at first, capital-intensive. When I say capital expensive, I mean it cost either a lot of your or a lot of your money, both of which I consider to be economic assets; moreover, Yummy Tummy Farms has required both a lot of my and a lot of my  money. On the surface, it may not be attractive to talk about resource requirements; however, I believe that if anybody is considering such an endeavor, the wisdom-filled saying of, “measure twice and cut once” is really appropriate or in other words, do your homework and do lots of research.

In the pictures below, you can see how much progress we made over the past weekend 5/12 & 5/13, it is really getting exciting at Yummy Tummy Farms!
