I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the words of encouragement as we at Yummy Tummy Farms really appreciate it and clearly without community we would be just a memory already. I, Farmer Donald, and all the apprentices that volunteer, work hard and sweat in the sun could not feel as though we may actually be able to make a difference in the world without our community.

When and where you can, please continue to encourage your friends and family to support Yummy Tummy Farms; needless to say, the start-up costs on a farm are not exactly cheap; especially if you want to start a biodynamic, organic farm in San Jose, CA.

Everyone who buys honey, jam, pickles, fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs, and numerous other items helps us offset the costs of buying honeybee supplies, organic soil amendments, tools, and educational opportunities. Our teaching and learning Annex will soon be holding it’s first classes and workshops, so enroll, sign-up, and bring your friends, family, and children. Also, if you know anybody in the San Jose area, please send them over to support Yummy Tummy Farms; furthermore, please encourage your friends to follow this blog, like us on Facebook, re-tweet our posts on Twitter, add us to their circles on Google +, and check us out on Pinterest.

Our website, will soon have an e-commerce button that will allow us to accept donations and sell items to our non-local friends, so be looking for that addition coming soon. Again, thank-you very much!

Expressing love and appreciation through heirloom tomato perfection!

  1. You’re doing something very special with organic farming – thank you for sharing that kind of love with others. So important 🙂
